![]() ![]() It is not perfect yet, but very promising. I also have some feature requests (about automation curves, etc) and crash reports but his should be discuss somewhere else, I think.īTW, many thanks to Harrison for your hard work for Control surface support. the sends to mixbusses feature is cool on the video, but not very easy to use in practice (I don't detail here but this could be discuss, imho) flip mode only works with mixbus sends (would be useful for pan automations, sends, etc.). Priced at 79 and first reviewed in the May 2010 issue of SOS, Harrison Mixbus is a proprietary extension of the opensource Ardour project, and offers another. adjusting sends level (not mixbus) is missing Every resistor, capacitor, and transistor was modeled. ![]() the ability to select track by type (audio, midi, mixbus, aux returns) is also very useful Each Mixbus32C channel strip incorporates an exact emulation of the original Harrison 32C parametric four-band sweepable EQ with a separately switchable filter section including second order high-pass and low-pass filters. We are increasing the number of protocols for v3, and we are also working on a dedicated control surface for Mixbus. the integration of channelstrip (input section, EQ and Comp, mixbus) directly from the control surface is great Harrison Consoles 15 years Hi Auralart, Mixbus v2 only supports the Mackie 'Logic' protocol, not HUI. the ability to assign key bindings to the Control Surface's buttons is simply awesome Mix faster and sound better Mixbus is full-featured digital audio workstation and music production software for recording, editing, mixing, and mastering. C:Program FilesMixbus32C-shareardour5midimaps (Image 3).MTC does NOT transmit an audible signal BTW, that would be SMPTE. Place the downloaded file in the following directory for Harrison Mixbus. If you look in the preferences for midi in MixBus you'll see Ardour, MCU and control, thats it. No way to route the sync from mix bus that I can see. I have lots of questions but the main ones are :ġ/ is there an option to make Mixbus tracks (in edit and mix window) to scroll automatically when changing banks of fader from the control surface ?Ģ/ when selecting a mixbus, I don't see how to control the drive pot (ex : selecting 1 mixbus + using button "track")Ĥ/ I don't see any way for controlling the master fader channelstrip (drive, EQ, Comp), especially when using advanced monitoring feature (the master fader controls only the monitor level) MixBus doesn't see any of the MOTU midi ports so you can send MTC to the MPC. Those videos convinced me to get both Mixbus 3.1 upgrade (from 2.5) and to purchase an X-Touch (that I received last week). ![]()
